Compare SoftwareHow To Choose HubSpot Alternatives
With so many different <Focus Term> solutions available, it can be challenging to make decisions on what tool is going to be the best fit for your needs.
As you're shortlisting, trialing, and selecting <Focus Term>, consider the following:
- What problem are you trying to solve - Start by identifying the HubSpot feature gap you're trying to fill to clarify the features and functionality the tool needs to provide.
- Who will need to use it - To evaluate cost and requirements, consider who'll be using the software and how many licenses you'll need. You'll need to evaluate if it'll just be the revenue operation leaders or the whole organization that will require access. When that's clear, it's worth considering if you're prioritizing ease of use for all or speed for your HubSpot alternative power users.
- What other tools it needs to work with - Clarify what tools you're replacing, what tools are staying, and the tools you'll need to integrate with, such as accounting, CRM, or HR software. You'll need to decide if the tools will need to integrate together or if you can replace multiple tools with one consolidated HubSpot alternative.
- What outcomes are important - Consider the result that the software needs to deliver to be considered a success. Consider what capability you want to gain or what you want to improve, and how you will be measuring success. For example, an outcome could be the ability to get greater visibility into performance. You could compare HubSpot alternative features until you’re blue in the face but if you aren’t thinking about the outcomes you want to drive, you could be wasting a lot of valuable time.
- How it would work within your organization - Consider the software selection alongside your workflows and delivery methodology. Evaluate what's working well and the areas that are causing issues that need to be addressed. Remember every business is different — don’t assume that because a tool is popular that it'll work in your organization.
Best HubSpot Alternative Reviews
Here’s an overview of each HubSpot alternative. I explain how they compare to HubSpot, the benefits of migrating to each tool, how much they cost, and how they integrate into your existing tech stack.
Creatio CRM is a robust customer relationship management platform tailored for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and larger enterprises. Built on a low-code/no-code framework, it allows for extensive customization without requiring deep programming expertise.
Why it's a good Hubspot alternative: CRM Creatio provides a good alternative to Hubspot because of its extensive customization capabilities without the need for coding expertise. Users can customize workflows, automate processes, and create tailored solutions that meet specific customer relationship needs. I also like its 360-degree customer view, which consolidates all customer data into a single, unified profile, offering teams a better understanding of customer behavior, preferences, and history for a more personalized approach to service.
Standout Features include end-to-end workflow automation that enables users to design and automate complex workflows across various business functions. It also has real-time reporting tools that offer built-in analytics to help monitor key performance indicators. Users can also create fully customizable dashboards to display the most relevant metrics.
Integrations include Accelo, Act!, ActiveCampaign, Acumatica, Adobe Analytics, Asana, Microsoft Exchange, Excel, Mailchimp, HubSpot Marketing Hub, Google Calendar, and Tableau.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Comprehensive CRM capabilities
- No-code platform
- Highly customizable workflows
Cons:
- Customization can be time-consuming
- Learning curve for new users
Salesforce is the leading CRM software on the planet. If you currently use HubSpot, you probably looked at Salesforce—and it might be time to look again. Salesforce gives large sales teams more features than HubSpot, but it can be a tad more expensive.
Why it's a good Hubspot alternative: If you are purely looking for a CRM and don’t care too much about marketing automation, then I think Salesforce is comfortably a better tool than HubSpot. You’ll get all of the CRM-related features (lead scoring, contact management, automations, etc.), but the platform itself is way more customizable and offers better sales reports. I will say that it may be too complex for smaller teams, however.
Standout Features: I love that Salesforce lets you import data from virtually any source, eliminating data silos. You can then use AI-powered automation features to score and organize leads, as well as set up automated sales workflows. I think businesses will also like how advanced sales reporting and forecasting features are and the fact they are available even on basic plans.
Integrations: Huge range of integrations available. These include Google Workspace, QuickBooks, DocuSign, Jira, and ActiveCampaign
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Very scalable
- Incredible flexibility
- Most comprehensive CRM
Cons:
- Customer support isn't amazing
- UI could improve
Pipedrive is a CRM tool designed to help sales teams manage their sales processes efficiently. It focuses on visual sales pipeline management, making it easy to track deals and sales activities.
Why it's a good Hubspot alternative: Pipedrive is a good alternative to HubSpot due to its strong emphasis on visual sales management and automation, and its sales-centric focus. Its intuitive drag-and-drop interface allows sales teams to easily track and manage deals through various stages of the pipeline. Additionally, the platform's automation features help streamline repetitive tasks. Unlike HubSpot, which offers a broader range of marketing and service tools, Pipedrive is tailored specifically for sales, providing a more targeted and efficient solution for teams seeking to optimize their sales processes.
Standout Features: In addition to its visual sales management and automation capabilities, Pipedrive offers lead management tools, which include lead capture forms, chatbots, and web visitor tracking. The activity calendar helps users schedule, track, and manage all sales activities in one place while its advanced reporting and forecasting tools provide in-depth insights into sales performance and future projections.
Integrations include Slack, Mailchimp, Asana, Xero, QuickBooks, HubSpot, Zendesk, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, Zapier, Trello, DocuSign, PandaDoc, Calendly, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Automation for repetitive tasks
- User-friendly interface
- Highly customizable dashboards and pipelines
Cons:
- Many AI features only available on higher-tier plans
- Initial learning curve during setup
Capsule CRM is a streamlined, user-friendly Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform aimed at small to medium-sized enterprises looking for a solution to manage customer relationships and sales pipelines. By providing an intuitive interface and easy-to-navigate features, Capsule CRM helps businesses keep track of contacts, leads, and opportunities without the complexity often associated with CRM software.
Why it's a good Hubspot alternative: As a Hubspot alternative, Capsule CRM excels by offering a more simplified, cost-effective solution without sacrificing core CRM functionalities. It's particularly well-suited for businesses seeking straightforward customer management, sales tracking, and reporting tools. Capsule's focus on essential features allows for a less cluttered, more efficient user experience compared to more complex systems.
Standout Features: 'Tracks' and 'Tags' offer a nuanced approach to managing contacts and tasks. 'Tracks' are pre-defined sequences of tasks that guide users through a process, ensuring consistency and efficiency in activities such as onboarding new clients or following up on leads. 'Tags' allow for dynamic categorization of contacts, opportunities, and cases, providing a flexible, easy-to-use system for segmentation that can adapt to the evolving needs of a business.
Integrations: Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Calendar), Microsoft Office 365, Mailchimp, Xero, QuickBooks, Slack, FreshBooks, and more using Zapier.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Send and receive emails right in Capsule CRM
- Integrated calendar tasks management
- Intuitive and easy to use
Cons:
- More digital marketing integration welcomed
- Can't drag-and-drop data tags or fields
Monday sales CRM is a customer relationship management tool that is part of the monday.com Work OS. It provides a customizable environment for managing sales processes and client interactions. It also allows users to gain visibility into their sales pipeline and centralize client communication.
Why it's a good HubSpot alternative: Monday Sales CRM offers a more affordable solution than HubSpot across all plans, which can be particularly beneficial for businesses with budget constraints. While it may not have the advanced marketing features of HubSpot, monday.com's sales CRM focuses on automating sales workflows, managing leads, and improving the sales process. Overall, Monday Sales CRM is a viable alternative for companies that prioritize sales and project management over comprehensive marketing tools.
Standout Features: I particularly like how users can monitor sales performance, including tracking individual and team metrics. The tool also provides customizable dashboards, sales forecasting, lead capturing, and seamless data organization.
Integrations: Monday Sales CRM offers limited integrations with a few high-quality third-party applications, including Outlook, Google Drive, Trello, and Slack.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Provides hundreds of email templates
- Offers unlimited boards
- Highly customizable
Cons:
- Potential learning curve for new users
- Three-seat minimum for all paid plans
Zoho CRM is a CRM software first and foremost. But it's also a customer experience tool that lets you automate large parts of the customer journey. That’s why I think it’s such a good alternative to HubSpot for small businesses. You don’t get all of the advanced features of HubSpot, but you get almost everything you need in one package.
Why it's a good Hubspot alternative: I think you get great value for money with Zoho CRM. Most small businesses will be able to get everything they need from Zoho from its free or cheapest plans. You can create contacts, manage deals, track website visitors, create automated campaigns, and report on everything, just as you would in HubSpot. If your needs grow, then Zoho becomes even more affordable. You won’t get all the bells and whistles like you do with HubSpot, but most SMBs don’t need them.
Standout features include robust automated workflows that are even available on the free plan. I think the tools to create marketing automation campaigns are pretty decent. Forecasting and reporting features are very good and comparable to HubSpot, too.
Integrations: Zoho probably integrates with pretty much every app in your arsenal. That includes Google Workspace, Micosoft365, Quickbooks, and Mailchimp.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Good integrations
- Easy to use
- Workflow automation
Cons:
- Support could be better
- Lack of reporting functionality
Engagebay is another all-in-one sales and marketing platform that offers a similar set of features to HubSpot. You get CRM software, marketing automation tools, and live chat and helpdesk software in one package. But you get it for pennies on the dollar.
Why it's a good Hubspot alternative: I think Engagebay’s free plan has everything solopreneurs need to create and manage a CRM. You’ll have to pay extra for marketing automation features, but it’s still a drop in the bucket compared to HubSpot. At the same time, you’ll get access to a very similar set of features. The only thing I think the platform suffers from is a lack of documentation.
Standout features include an email template builder and drag-and-drop customer journey workflow. I love the platform’s comprehensive helpdesk solution, too.
Integrations: First-party integrations available for a range of business apps, including Shopify, Xero, Twilio, Asana, and Zoom. You can also use Zapier to create your own integrations.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Excellent customer service
- Great value
- Solid all-in-one solution
Cons:
- Learning curve can be steep
- Email builder isn’t great
ActiveCampaign is a marketing automation platform that helps you move customers through each stage of the buyer’s journey. It is a very similar offering to HubSpot’s marketing automation suite of tools, but it’s usually much more affordable. Of course, it doesn’t have any of the CRM features that make HubSpot so popular.
Why it's a good Hubspot alternative: Because it’s a robust, powerful and easy-to-use marketing automation tool available for a fraction of the price. I don’t think it has the full range of features that HubSpot does (particularly bottom-of-the-funnel tools that link marketing campaigns to a CRM), but what it does do, it does exceptionally well. I particularly like how easy it is to create and customize user journeys with the drag-and-drop editor.
Standout Features: The drag-and-drop marketing automation builder is ActiveCampaign’s best feature, in my opinion. But I also like that it lets you create customized email campaigns, segment audiences, and send SMS messages. Note, the CMS is nowhere near as powerful as HubSpot.
Integrations: Almost 1000 integrations to choose from, including Salesforce, Shopify, Facebook and WordPress. You can even create your own using Zapier.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Affordable
- Easy to use
- Robust marketing automation
Cons:
- Poor template functionality
- Customization could be better
SharpSpring is a marketing automation and CRM solution that offers a reasonable alternative to HubSpot. It isn’t as powerful as HubSpot, nor does it have as many features, but it is a great alternative for agencies looking to cut costs for their customers and more closely align them with their agency.
Why it's a good Hubspot alternative: The platform has a unique offering for agencies that HubSpot and other alternatives struggle to compete with. I chose the platform for its agency pricing model that means your clients can get access to a CRM and marketing automation tool at a fraction of the price, while you receive a revenue share. What also stood out for me is that the platform even integrates with other automation and CRM tools so you don’t have to convince customers to move from their existing tech stacks.
Standout Features: There are plenty of unique features like the ability to rebrand the interface, domain and login screen that I think will be hugely popular with agencies. SSO is also available and you can even create email templates and share them across clients.
Integrations: Dozens of first-party integrations available with leading business apps. Opportunity to create your own using Zapier and Make.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Easy to use
- Robust features
- Very affordable for agencies
Cons:
- Can be overwhelming
- Form building functionality isn’t great
Drip is an e-commerce marketing automation tool that lets you create personalized experiences for your retail customers. Unlike HubSpot, it doesn’t try to be an all-in-one platform. That means it lacks certain functionality like a CRM, but it’s very good at the features it does offer.
Why it's a good Hubspot alternative: If you have an e-commerce store and want a comprehensive platform to manage your marketing campaigns, then Drip is a great choice in my opinion. Like HubSpot, you can use the tool to capture leads (see the screenshot above), create personalized and automated nurturing campaigns, and monitor everything through in-depth reporting. From what I’ve seen, Drip is as easy to use as HubSpot and quicker to set up, and there’s no shortage of integrations, either. There’s even a free migration service to help you move platforms.
Standout features: I particularly like how easy Drip makes it to create an email campaign. The customizable templates (an example of which you cna see in the screenshot above), make it a particularly effective tool for creating high-impact campaigns.
Integrations: There are over 100 integrations with third-party tools, including major e-commerce platforms like Shopify and BigCommerce, as well as tools Chargify, ActiveCampaign, TypeForm, and Notion.
Pros and cons
Pros:
- Simple to use
- Loads of integrations
- Robust email marketing tool
Cons:
- Customer support could be better
- Signup forms aren’t great

Pricing structures and included features can vary significantly among different CRM platforms, making it essential to understand what each plan offers. Below is an overview of typical plan options for HubSpot alternatives, outlining the average pricing and key features included in each.
Plan Comparison Table For HubSpot Alternatives
